FAQ
What should I wear?
One of my favorite parts of photography is color coordination! I will always offer advice free of charge, to ease your decision fatigue. I'll give you an idea of what colors look best with my editing style. Add in some different textures/fabrics/patterns to create depth! Try to avoid stripes, bright colors, and logo's. Wear what makes you feel confident and your best self! See above for my signature styling experience add-on if you want to take it to the next level!
What if I have to cancel?
Life can be unpredictable... I understand! A non-refundable deposit required to secure your session date and time (goes towards your balance). If you need to reschedule, I'm happy to move your session one time with notice. Cancellations & no-show's forfeits the retainer completely. In the event of weather, we can work together to reschedule!
Mini's/holiday theme sessions are non-refundable. I will offer you a different timed slot if one is available, but is not guaranteed.
Please understand that cancellations within the specified time frame impact my ability to book other clients, as a small business, I appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
What is your turnaround time?
It usually takes 1-2 weeks to thoroughly complete a gallery, sometimes even sooner! Some sessions may take longer, if you need them within a certain timeframe, please let me know and I'll try my best to make that happen!!
Can we print our photos anywhere?
Of course! However- I always recommend using a professional lab for the best quality. Places like Mpix or Nations Photo Lab use high-resolution printers that keep your colors true and details sharp- exactly how your photos were edited. SmallWoods is also a great option.
Drugstore printers (Walmart, CVS, Staples, etc) tend to blur, brighten or distort the images.
If you're posting on social media, make sure to download the "web size" option from your gallery. Use the "high-resolution" option for printing!
