Spring is one of the most beautiful times of year for family photos in Central Indiana. Flowers are blooming, the light is soft, and everything feels fresh again. My spring mini sessions are perfect for families in Indianapolis, Greenfield, New Castle, and surrounding areas who want updated photos without committing to a full session.

Spring mini sessions are short and simple photo sessions designed for busy families. These sessions typically last around 15-20 minutes and are perfect for capturing updated family portraits, motherhood photos, or sweet moments with your little ones just because.
Each spring mini session includes a curated outdoor location with a beautiful seasonal scenery.
This year: think neutral textures- lace crochet, layered blankets on a simple clothesline outdoors, babies breath- designed to honor motherhood in its most intimate form. This setup is intentionally minimal, so the focus stays on you and your baby/child. Each session is styled with a cohesive, neutral color palette to keep everything timeless.
what to expect during your spring mini session
Spring mini sessions are designed to be quick, relaxed, and fun. 15-20 minutes is the perfect amount of time to capture beautiful moments without little ones getting overwhelmed if you just want a few updated portraits or want to indulge in a themed photo session.
During your session, I'll guide you with simple prompts and natural direction, so you never have to worry about what to do with your hands or how to pose. My goal is always to capture real connection and genuine moments.
Because mini sessions run back-to-back, it's important to arrive on time. Arriving late may shorten your session time so that the next family's session can still begin as scheduled. The day before your session, I'll send a reminder email that includes a location pin, details, and any last-minute information you might need to make the day smooth and easy.
Where spring mini sessions take place
This year's sessions will take place at beautiful outdoor locations in Carmel, Greenfield and New Castle, chosen for their soft light and natural spring scenery. The Carmel location will take place as Coxhall Gardens. The Greenfield location will be at Breckenholdt Park. And lastly, the New Castle location will be held at Memorial Park. These locations are easy to access for families traveling from:

After your 2026 spring mini session
After your spring mini session, I carefully go through your images and edit them to match my warm and timeless style.
Within a few days to a week, you'll receive a private online gallery where you can view your images and download your favorites. Your gallery will include high-resolution images that are perfect for printing and sharing easily. Your gallery also includes a built-in print store directly through my website, where you can order professional-quality prints and products that are shipped straight to your home.
If you prefer printing on your own, I recommend using professional labs such as Mpix or Nations Photo Lab for the best color and print quality. Smallwoods is also an amazing site for canvas prints!
These labs tend to produce much more accurate colors and longer-lasting prints than typical big-box stores.
