I know planning a session can feel overwhelming- outfits, timing, what to bring- and I want you to feel completely prepared and relaxed. This is your behind-the-scenes peek at how I work and what you can expect from start to finish.
Booking & Inquiry
Booking your session is easy and personalized. Start by sending me a message through my contact form (or email/text if thats easiest!) you can even shoot me a DM on IG!
Include:
- What kind of session you're looking for
- Dates you're considering
- Ages of kids/ baby if applicable
I'll get back to you with available dates and all the details. I have specific guides I will send you for sessions like Cake Smash's, Milestones, & Boudoir so you never feel lost & know what to expect.
Preparing for Your Session
Here's how to feel ready and confident on session day:
What to wear:
- I recommend simple, neutral or earth toned colors that complement each other
- Avoid busy patterns, logos, words, stripes
- Different layers and fabrics add depth which is a great thing!
- For milestones/newborns I'll send you an information packet ahead of time to look over
The Session Day
During the session, my goal is to capture authentic, natural moments, all the little interactions that make your family unique. At the very beginning of the session I will focus on posed shots, for grandma and the Christmas cards, but after that, it's nothing but fun and moments unfolding naturally.
- I'll guide poses & prompts. My focus is on real connection. I will guide you through every step of our session. If you've had lots of sessions & need little to no guiding, then I'm happy to let you lead! Otherwise, leave the hard work to me!
- Sessions are relaxed and follow your family's rhythm. Please try not to coach or yell at the kiddos, I promise you, when you let them be themselves, the photos turn out amazing. Of course, they will need some guidance, and we don't need them acting wild or out of control, so feel free to gently parent them, but if they are behaving and just being silly- let them!!!

- Your gallery will be delivered online within a few weeks
- You'll have access to download & share prints
- Your gallery will be available to download for 30 days, if you need longer, please let me know asap!
