Fortville Indiana Photographer | Favorite Locations for Family & Couples Photos
One of my favorite things about being a photographer in Central Indiana is getting to explore all of the beautiful little pockets our area has to offer — and Fortville, Indiana is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to photograph!
Located just outside of Indianapolis and close to Greenfield, Fishers, Noblesville, McCordsville, and surrounding communities, Fortville is such a convenient location for families and couples who want beautiful photos without having to head all the way into downtown Indy.
And the best part? There are so many different looks we can create here. Indoor and Outdoors.
Outdoor Photo Sessions in Fortville, Indiana
If you love natural, candid photos with plenty of movement, outdoor sessions are always one of my favorites.
Fortville and the surrounding area offer beautiful open spaces that are perfect for family photos, couples sessions, maternity portraits, engagement photos, and seasonal sessions. Flat Fork Creek Park, Fort Harrison and Falls Park are all great parks near Fortville. Depending on the time of year, we can create everything from soft summer evenings and golden fall portraits to cozy Christmas photos.
This year, I’m even bringing some of my Christmas mini sessions outdoors with a limited day of tree farm minis at Sambol’s Tree Farm in Fortville!

Prefer something indoors? Fortville is also one of my favorite areas for studio photography.
I use beautiful studio spaces in the Fortville area that give us a clean, elevated setting while still allowing your photos to feel relaxed and natural.
Studio sessions are especially great for maternity photos, milestone sessions, couples, branding, families with little ones, or anyone who simply wants the peace of mind of not worrying about Indiana weather.
And yes — we can still get those candid, snuggly, laughing, act like I’m not even here moments inside a studio. 😉
The studio is a nice clean, crisp, timeless vibe, and is great for little ones because they can't run too far! It's also good for moms, because CLIMATE CONTROL. and a bathroom, and a mirror at all times haha. I regularly rent two studio spaces in Fortville for indoor sessions, which gives my clients different looks depending on the vision for their photos. One of my favorites is Studio Loft 18, a natural-light studio right in downtown Fortville with multiple studio setups and plenty of flexibility for families, maternity, milestones, couples, branding sessions and more. While The Sweet House has a vintage feel, depth, warmth and the best part- allows dogs! (subject to approval) Both very different vibes and feels, both on Main Street and both beautiful!!!
Family Photography That Doesn’t Feel Stiff or Overly Posed
If you’re searching for a Fortville family photographer but the idea of standing perfectly still and smiling at the camera for an entire session makes you cringe… we’re probably going to get along.
